Tasting Notes
2019’s The Cure G-S-M is a concentrated endeavor with fullbodied richness. It’s fully loaded with earthiness, incense, blue and black fruits, pepper, dried herbs, and floral notes. The Cure’s individuality really shines and it’s our most versatile wine pairing well with a wide range of cuisine.

Winemaking
Varietals were handpicked in October at the peak of flavor ripeness and phenolic maturity. Grapes were carefully cluster sorted, 100% destemmed and fermented in stainless steel. After a cold maceration, daily punch-downs, pump-overs and pneumotage were conducted.

Ratings
93 pts + Cellar Selection, Wine Enthusiast | “This is an impressively structured blend of 45% Syrah, 29% Grenache and 26% Mourvèdre from two adjacent West Paso appellations. Dark-berry, roasted plum, light cola and black olive aromas lead into a grippy palate full of coffee, carob and cocoa flavors, with a splash of dark berry.” - Matt Kettmann

93 pts, James Suckling | “This is a fresh and polished red with sweet tea, tobacco and red fruit on the nose and palate. It’s medium-bodied with firm, silky tannins and a vivid finish. Nice tension at the end.”

93 pts, Vinous | "...Bright and focused on the nose, displaying red and blue fruit preserve, floral, vanilla and baking spice qualities and a touch of smokiness. Deep yet energetic in style, delivering appealingly sweet cherry, blueberry, floral pastille and cola flavors that show no rough edges..." - Josh Raynolds

93 pts, Jeb Dunnuck | “The 2019 The Cure (45% Syrah, 29% Grenache, and 26% Mourvèdre) is darker and meatier, with solid black cherry and blackberry-like fruits as well as peppery herbs, iron, and gamey nuances. Beautiful on the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, has some classic Syrah bloody meat character, ripe yet firm tannins, and a great finish."

92 pts, Owen Bargreen | “Full-bodied with good structure and plenty of smoky and savory tones.”
