2020 Cabernet Sauvignon
"I won't be a rock star.
I will be a legend."
- Freddie Mercury
Denner Vineyard | Paso Robles Willow Creek District
2020's Copia Cabernet Sauvignon continues to take a walk on the wild side with 22% Syrah rounding out the blend. Aromas of cassis mingle with dark chocolate, licorice, graphite and bay leaf. Textured, opulent and with an extended finish, this wine has already seen a year of bottle age. It will continue to develop its complex expression for years to come.
Grapes were carefully cluster sorted, 100% destemmed and fermented in stainless steel. After a cold maceration, daily punch-downs, pump-overs and pneumotage were conducted.
“Powerful, concentrated, and full-bodied, it has good mid-palate depth, ripe, building tannins, and a great finish. Paso Robles continues to produce more and more incredible Bordeaux blends, and this is top-notch.” - 94+ pts | Jeb Dunnuck
“...seamlessly silky and refined ... finishes dramatically long yet still remarkably fresh.” - 93 pts | Vinous
